What to have handy (nothing, honestly)
You don't need documents to call. It helps if you know roughly what you earn, roughly what you owe each month, and roughly where you're looking. "Roughly" is doing a lot of work in that sentence, on purpose.
What we'll ask
- Buying or refinancing, and whether this is your first home
- Where the property is, or where you're shopping
- Price range and how much you have set aside
- Your timeline: under contract, three months, someday
- How your credit looks from your side of the desk
What we won't do
Quote a rate (that's the lender's job), pull your credit, or sell your number to twelve companies. One licensed lender calls you. If that lender goes quiet, call us back and we'll chase it. That's the whole arrangement.
Who picks up
An AI phone assistant, on every call, at every hour. It says so in its opening sentence, along with the fact that the call may be recorded. It asks the questions above, reads the callback permission out loud before you hang up, and a licensed Pennsylvania lender follows up. No voicemail, no menu, no queue. What it will and will not do is written out.
